
PRE-COLUMBIAN GOLD MUSEUM
The Gold museum offers different examples of Pre-Columbian
gold artifacts. The pieces in the collection
date from 500 BC to 1600 AD. Tastefully
exhibited with great lighting and clear concise
descriptions, the museum opens a window into the
past and into lives of those indigenous groups that
lived in Costa Rica.

CHILDREN’S MUSEUM AND NATIONAL GALLERY
This museum offers exhibits about children's culture
and rights in Costa Rica, and also has exhibitions
about science, music and geography, all planned for
the younger visitor. It houses the Galería Nacional
(National Gallery) with fourteen (14) spacious rooms
in two levels. Many different international and
national exhibitions and artistic productions have
been presented in the Galería.
COSTA RICAN ART MUSEUM
Responsible for the maintenance, dissemination and
promotion of the Costa Ricans arts and literature.
It collects and exhibits permanently the most
important pieces of plastic art in Costa Rica.
